I wanted to use the thumbgrid without the ssp but I coudn't. You might say "why would you want that?".

Well, there is this 'enlarge on hover' effect in thumbgrid and it works better than javascript effects. Plus it provides more protection for your images because they can't be easily copied inside a flash file. There are also advanced customisation options for background colour, and shadow etc.

When I move the ssp off the stage it looks like the problem is solved but not exactly. The enlarge on hover works and everthing is fine except the thumbs are still clickable. I want them to be unclickable.

So, please add an option to make the thumbnails unclickable.
