Simple stuff. I won't dwell on the little glitches here (eg why does the Feedback tickbox in the WP plug-in keep re-ticking itself after updates, grrr...).

I am unsure what you mean by feedback tickbox, we don't have one in the Director plugin.

The Pre-loader box in Feedback comes back ticked each time Feedback parameter is re-opened in Slidepress, tho it has been updated to unticked.

Well I prefer not to give out my password or access to my WP account as a matter of security principle, so I'll have to forego you examining it directly.

But does that mean it works fine for you?

Yes adding permalinks on my personal slidepress install works fine, that is why I was asking to check on yours. I understand and respect your security concerns, unfortunately that is the only way I can help if it isn't working for you.

Am I describing my issue correctly?

WP 3.1
Slidepress> Manage gallery > Edit style settings > Feedback > Uncheck 'Show Preloader' > Update Gallery

If that's all then it works, but if you re-edit style settings, then the 'Show Preloader' function is automatically 'on' ie checked and it's necessary to uncheck it every time even tho something quite different is being edited.

I don't think that's a 'permalink' issue.

Sorry, I had two discussions open and responded to the wrong one. It appears you have found a bug which I will add to the list of fixes for the next update.
