Greetings SlideShowPro Users,
We are pleased to announce a neat little tool for all you social network (Facebook) lovers. This Facebook Share functionality will allow you to share all of your SlideShowPro images in your Facebook news feed. Take a look and then we will get into some gritty details:

Does this work with video too? I want to be able to share ssp videos on facebook so that they are embedded in the facebook news feed (like youtube/vimeo etc).
eg http://garethhooper.com/articles/social … ebook.html

Greetings skitch,
You can indeed still share the link to the video. It will not however embed into facebook. I would have to do some testing/additional coding to try and see if we could it to embed via some html5 fallback that SSP provides or a custom one. I'll look into it at some point, but for now, sharing the permalink is the best this solution is capable of.
Thanks for your interest!

You going to clean up the og tags to show a prettier title and pull description from the photo caption/ album description? Kinda jarring seeing a knarly Director link and no human-readable text. Nice GUI though, looks nice in Flash. Think the Developers should do a tutorial file on Meta and og tags. The API is so awesome, so much can be rendered with never having to hardcode for FB sharing or Google ranking stuff.
