Content Area Resize

SSP Player is displaying images and thumbnails. Navigation is working. But I've spent about an hour trying to figure out how to change the Content Area. It should not be this difficult to locate something so basic. I've gone through the online Help, FAQ, Troubleshooting, and Forums. All to no avail. I'm embarrassed to need to ask this.

My Content Area is presently the original 548x384. In Component Inspector, Action Script 3 of CS4 gives me the following parameters: Content Area Background Alpha, Content Area Background Color, Content Area Stroke Appearance, Content Area Stroke Color. Nothing about size. I can't find 548 anywhere in the entire list. How do I change the Content Area in the SSP Player of AS3 in CS4?

Thanks,
TravelGuy

Re: Content Area Resize

this is not a component setting but a flash setting of the component size.
click on the component to select it, open the properties tab on the right. Under position and size you will see a w value and an h value, these are the height and width adjustment for the component. You will need to adjust the flash stage w and h to accommodate the new component size.

Re: Content Area Resize

Thanks, zippie. Got it. Done it.

Long story short - I had been clicking on the Content Area but expecting eight handles or transform controls to appear as in Photoshop or Corel Draw, where I spend most of my time. Flash has never been my strong area. I'll need to get a little more familiar with it.
