I've redesigned my portfolio site http://www.caprigen.us without flash using HTML5 and CSS3.
Director PHP API is used to deliver the Images in the appropriate size. Foreground and Background color will be extracted from the image in Chronologisch and Gallerie view for Text and Album Background.
The site will detect screen resolution and iOS mobile devices.

Hi James,

basically I use the PHP Director Library to build my own JSON based album and gallery response. To speed-up thing I save these JSON files onto webservers disk and serve them to the browser.
The slideshow is build based on jQuery including some plugin's e.g. Galleria, SliderKit, TouchSwipe and Soundmanager2.
