My site: Director API, PHP, Permalinks & Slideshow Embed in Wordpress

I've finally got around to do what I've been meaning to do for a few years - been too busy taking pictures until now!

The homepage of the site takes a feed using the Director API, processes it using PHP to create a thumbnail grid in which each thumb is permalinked to an image in a slideshow on a different page where the Director Slideshow is embedded.  Pretty straight forward really, but very effective I think.

This could easily be replicated to have a thumbnail grid below / alongside a slideshow thus creating a version of ThumbGrid without needing any flash at all (which was the original problem I set out to solve).

Enjoy.

Edit: Discovered that this works fine in Firefox and Safari but for some reason IE does not acknowledge the permalink address, instead simply maintaining the root URL. Ugh!

Very nice. I like how you display all the images at some kind of random order. Nice site.
