SSP Director - SSP & Custom Flash Components
We are doing some cool things with the Director API. It's such a great product and we want to show off what we are doing with a combo of Joomla / Slideshowpro Director / Slideshow Pro Component & Custom components:
99% of EVERYTHING on these sites is loaded through Director API

One great thing I'll say about Joomla is not only how easy it is to use but we've been able to integrate the Album Titles, Descriptions and image tags into the pages of joomla.
Most sites would consist of 10 - 20 pages of content that is SEO optimized and the images would be linked but didn't make a relevant impact on SEO other than using the TAGS as the alt content.
We've now built a custom script that will actually retrieve the album & image info, create unique pages for each image and then use the data collected to input a unique title, meta description & keywords as well as displaying text on each page about the image.
That has taken our sites from being 10 - 20 pages of unique SEO to 500+ pages of unique content that is SEO optimized. Each image added to SSP Director becomes another additional page of SEO content. Can you say WOW!
To say the least we are buzzing on Google right now and continuing to streamline the output for better performance and search engine placement.
I'll post some results here to show the difference it's making.

Does anyone know if similar work is being done for a Drupal module?
I've searched through all the Drupal modules and can't find anything that would fulfill a similar function.

I didn't see any og tags in there or facebook share buttons. Anybody utilizing Director to assign og tags so your site plays nice with facebook share? I have some stuff in beta. Metatags important but curious how others are handling Director and the og tags.
The Semper Fi SEO plugin used on those sites is amazing, but thinking that if you added Simple Facebook Connect would really knock it out of the park. That plugin can automate commenting on comment with Facebook credentials, prompting the user to also share the link to your website to their FB wall. If you are careful with og tags and Director, the shared link url, title, description, and thumbnail can all be populated by Director. Facebook share scripts would work without the commenting feature if you are nervous about allowing users to comment on pages.
Nice sites, just a thought.
