Hi:
I would like to make a couple of suggestions to future development of SSP for Lightroom 3
1.- Color managed slideshows for my wide gamut monitors, now that flas 10.1 is out and LR3 with ActionScript3 (this is an old wish, please help)
2.-
Publish feature to upload/move/delete images to our SSP director install using all the features in the publish module, like the standard Adobe built-in publish to flickr or the advanced jfriedl publish to flickr at http://regex.info/blog/2010-06-08/1539
3.- AAC codec support in mp4 or m4a formats, not only mp3 audio for music. M4A aac songs are much better compressed to low bitrate to ensure good playback and low bandwidth requirements
Thanks for your great job

I'll third #2! That would be really cool.

I hope this post from Tim means this is something in the pipeline ![]()
This is definitely something really cool and a real time-saver

Sadly, it doesn't mean much.
I started looking through the LR3 SDK... made my brain hurt. I'm too lazy to learn LUA and a whole API. I'm hoping we can convince Brad or Todd to do it ![]()

Why don't you contact Jeffrey Friedl?
he has made nice publish plugins for a while for Smugmug, Zenfolio, photobucket, and so on.
Maybe he would develop a SSP publish plugin...
He also asks for a fee for his plugins, so the benefit for him is clear.
SSP users could choose for a free SSP export plugin, or a premium publish service paying a small fee to Jeffrey Friedl ...
Just a suggestion...

I may have a go at it, as I've modified the existing Export plug-in and written other plug-ins. But I don't think Publish is as good as using Export.

I might have a go at it as well.
Todd has confirmed that implementing the Publish feature for Director is "on the radar."
Todd and Brad have their hands quite full with SSP/Mobile (and Director, and SSP, etc), so there's no hard plan for it at the moment.

I'd also love to have integration of Director with LR. Been considering Director purchase but all of my current workflow is in LR.
Keep up the great work folks. I love SSP!
