Hi there,
are there any plans to adapt the Director LR-Plugin, that it can be used as a publish service introduced in LR3? This would be a very nice feature.
I hope this is the right place to ask this question...
All the best wishes from Germany

Hi - yes, we're looking into the new publish services API in LR 3 and will certainly consider it going forward.

Like Todd said above, this is something we are tracking and definitely on our list of things to do. There are some other things that need to happen first though for Director to be able to fully support the Publish Services API, so it will take some time.

Oh, it can and it is! ![]()
Director's API needs to be expanded to support all the functions of Publish Services. Our export plugin has to be completely rewritten in the form of a Publish Service. All of that is actually quite challenging and will take some time.

Yes but Todd wrote that in Mars almost a year ago, an update once and awhile is good ![]()
Was just thinking that it couldnt be so hard, I use gallery3 and a user for gallery3 has written a publishing service for G3, so I just figured it couldnt be so hard since you are pro ![]()

Although a real publishing Plugin would be better this maybe a workaround for everybody waiting for the feature:
Publishing via this plugin:
http://photographers-toolbox.com/produc … ec=publish
and importing the content according to
http://wiki.slideshowpro.net/SSPdir/UG- … dImporting (option two)
Hope this may help anyone while waiting for the publishing plugin.
